How to play Funimalz

Funimalz is simple and engaging for all ages and skill levels! Spin the slot machine to collect prizes and coins. Merge and hatch chickens, pigs, and cats to create more than three hundred unique and enchanting creatures!

Start spinning to earn rewards! At the slot machine you’ll earn coins that can be used to buy boosters (like Healing Potions or Food for Funimalz) or to upgrade your Farm. You’ll also win the chance to Raid your friend’s Farms or Attack opponents to dig some gold.

Reaching higher levels will give you access to exciting events and competitions! 🏆

Golden Eggs

These eggs are a special resource that you earn by merging creatures. Every new Funimal brings you up to 3 Golden Eggs. Collect them, level up, and unlock new rewards!

Eggs can be only collected. They represent your progression through the game. You can also win boosters when you participate in our exciting in-game events!

Specific golden egg levels are required for completing tasks in multiple stages, such as Farm and Yard upgrades. Every yard is unique.

Yard Upgrade

How to upgrade my Yard?

You can use coins to upgrade your Yard. Each new upgrade requires a larger amount of coins.
 Farm upgrades have multiple stages and will require a specific Golden Egg level. To achieve the required egg level and progress through the game you must merge and hatch new Funimalz. 🥚
Keep feeding and hatching new Funimalz to unlock more yards!

Tap on the Broom to clear the dust and get some free space for another Funimal.

Merge every tenth level Funimal to unlock the next Yard.

The capacity of Yards can be increased by purchasing upgrades. The cost of these upgrades is counted in coins.

Availability of Yard upgrades depends on Eggs level🥚 and coins.

Each Yard has a certain number of spaces for Funimalz:
Minimum number of spaces: 4
Maximum number of spaces: 13

Note:
Tap on creatures to activate emotions or actions.

How to Merge my Funimalz?

You can merge two creatures to create an egg and hatch one new Funimal. These creatures must be the same type and level in order to merge, but they can be a different rarity.

You can drag and drop (tap and hold) creatures to merge them. In this case, the creatures that were merged disappear and a new, next-level creature can be hatched.

Merging outcome odds:
You can merge same level creatures with different rarity. In merging rare and legendary creatures the rarity type might be passed on to the next level creature.

How can I make Hatching time shorter?
The time of hatching can be shorted by paying the price asked in coins.
Tap on eggs and select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to hatch.

Attack

What is an Attack?

Attack is a Mini-game that you can launch by winning three Shovels on the Slot machine. In an Attack you can steal coins from other players.

When you get an Attack in the Slots, you will be transfered to offline players’ Farms to dig some gold. You have 3 Shovels and 4 spots marked by an X where you can dig. Three of the spots contain Coins while the fourth is empty.

The player that you Attack may be a friend or any random player from the Leaderboard with the highest amount of Coins.

Simple steps:

Get 3 Shovels playing the Slot machine. This is the only place to get them.
Tap on X symbols to dig some gold. You only have 3 attempts.
There are no coins in 1 out of 4 places.
Collect your rewards.
Coins you get are charged from opponents account.

Barn

Why do I need a Barn?

When you merge and hatch new Funimalz, you have limited space for them on Yards. When the Yard is full you can use the Barn.
You collect new creatures from slot machine spins, Raids, Treasure Chests, and gifts on the Yard.
The Barn provides additional space for all of your new Funimalz!

If you have free space on the Yard, you can move any Funimal from the Barn by tapping on it.

The Barn is located at the bottom left-hand side of the yard.

How does the Barn work?

Tap on the Barn to see your hidden Funimalz.
Tap on a Funimal card to move it to the Yard.
If you don’t have enough space for new creatures you can drag some into the Barn.

Farm Upgrade

You can use coins to upgrade your Farm. Each new upgrade requires a larger amount of coins. 
Farm upgrades have multiple stages and will require a specific Golden Egg level. To achieve the required Egg level and progress through the game you must merge and hatch new Funimalz. 🥚

How to upgrade my Farm:

Tap on the Farm button located in the bottom left-hand corner of the game screen between your Shop and Album buttons.
If you have enough coins and sufficient Golden Egg level you can update your Farm.
Tap on the Claim button to upgrade your Farm.
Congratulations! Your Farm is upgraded to the next level.
Tap on animal icons to open your new Yard.

Three different types of yards are available on the Farm:

Chickens
Pigs
Cats

Higher creature levels will unlock new yards within each type.

Raid

What is a Raid?

Raid is a Mini-game where you can catch Funimalz and win Coins. This game launches by winning three Traps on the Slot machine.

When you get a Trap combination in the Slots, you will be transferred to offline players’ Farms where you can steal their Funimalz and damage their Farm.

The player can protect themselves with Shields.

Simple steps:

Get 3 Traps by playing the Slot machine. This is the only place to get them.
Look at the grid of 3x3 places and choose any square you like.
Drag the Trap to the game board.
Wait and watch while Funimalz run around the game board.
If a Funimal runs on a square occupied with the Trap, this Funimal is transferred to your Yard.
If the opponent has available Shields, the Funimal escapes the Trap, but one of their Shields is broken.

Feeding

Your Funimalz will be hungry sometimes and need to be fed!
When you open the Yard you can see which of your Funimalz are hungry - some of them will have a cloud with a food icon above their head to show they are thinking about food.
You can tap and hold each Funimal to see additional food indicator if a creature is hungry.

There are 3 types of food for your Funimalz:

Corn - for Chickens
Acorns - for Pigs
Fish - for Cats

How can I feed my Funimalz?

Tap on the Feeder to feed your Funimalz.
Feed booster will only be active if at least one Funimal is present on the Yard.
During the feeding count-down timer, gifts will appear on the Yard.
Higher rarity creatures provide better chances to get rewards.
More Funimalz on the yard will give more rewards.

Funimalz can provide different Rewards:

Spins
Healing Potions
New Funimalz (rarity will be chosen according to the type and level of the creatures present on the Yard)
Accessories

Food Counter:
The food counter shows time left before you can feed your Funimalz again.
The number below will show you the quantity of free feedings you have available.

Feeding Rewards Information:

Tap on INFO button above the Feeder.
Learn more about feeding rewards on the Info screen.

How do I unlock new areas on the Yard?

The Yard is divided into unique areas that can be unlocked one after another.

How to clear Clouds and get free space for more Funimalz:

Tap on the Broom icon.
Tap on the Coin button at the bottom of the pop-up.
Wonderful! You now have space for one more Funimal!

How do I switch between Yard areas?

Let’s learn how to navigate your different Farm areas.
You can easily switch between unlocked Yards. To do this, swipe left or right on your Yard.

To switch between Chicken, Pig and Cat Farms, use Funimalz icons on the right side of the screen. Tap on an icon to switch to a different Farm area.

Yard Damage

Every time players are Raided by another player, damage is applied to their yards. You can easily repair Damages using coins.

How to repair my Yard?

Tap on the damaged area using a repair button with the hammer.🔨
Tap on Coin button
Well done! Now your Yard damage is fixed.

Damage can be applied to:

Section of the cleared Yard
Feeder
Funimalz

PLEASE NOTE:

Damage can be repaired by the attacked player upon the next entry to the game.
Damage repair costs coins.
The repair button appears on every object that can be repaired. You can tap on this icon and see the pop-up screen with the description of cost to repair.
After repair confirmation a corresponding amount of coins will be charged from the player's account and the damaged object will be restored.

Rules for applied damage:

Damage is applied with every raid if there are available targets and your sheilds are not blocking them.
If there are no available targets then the damage is lost.
Available targets are: Yard, Feeder, and Funimalz.
Damage distribution starts with the available Yard corresponding to the type of the captured creature.
Damage distribution starts with Yards of the lowest levels and then proceeds to the highest levels (ascending order).
Feeder damage can not be applied during an active state of the food booster.
Creature damage (sickness) is applied to creatures of the same type as those captured during the Raid minigame.

Creature management during a Raid:
When yard capacity is decreased due to raid damages, creatures are moved to the Barn (ascending level order). Legendary creatures are moved to the Barn last, regardless of their level.

Damaged Funimalz and Healing:

Funimalz become Sick as a result of opponent’s Raid.
Sick creatures cannot be merged.
Sickness will be indicated by a twinkling star effect above the creature’s head.
Speed of sick creatures reduces to 50% of a normal creature's movement.

How to hatch egg if my Yard was damaged:

Fix the yard first.
Tap on the egg to hatch.

Healing

If your Funimal was attacked you can use a Healing Potion to make it healthy again!
You need one potion to heal one Funimal.
You cannot merge a sick Funimal or move it to Barn.

How can I heal my Funimal?

Tap on a sick Funimal and select "Yes" on the tooltip.
Well done! Your Funimal is healthy again!
Now you can merge and hatch new amazing creatures.

How can I get a Healing Potion?

Potions can be collected from Treasure Chests and from Gifts.
Potions can be purchased for cash in the Shop.

The Potion is universal. It works on any sick creatures regardless of their type, level, or rarity.

How to protect your Farm from Attacks: Shields

What are Shields?

Earn these powerful items by landing on three Shields in the Slot Machine. They will defend your Farm from attacks. Stock up on them to keep your Farm safe and sound! 🏡
Shields will automatically be used to protect your Farm from attacks as long as they are available in your Shields cache. They can only be used once each, so be sure to keep spinning to win more!

Can I buy Shields in the Shop?
The only way to obtain Shields is by winning them in the Slots. They are not available to purchase in the Shop.

Where can I check how many Shields I have?
Your Shields are located in the upper right-hand corner of the game screen, in between your Golden Eggs level and the Main Menu.
When a Shield is used to defend your Farm from an attack, you’ll notice that one gets removed from your top bar inventory.

How many Shields can I have?
You can have only 3 Shields.

What happens if I land on three Shields in the Slots when I have the maximum amount of Shields?
That’s great - you’re very well protected! In this case, the Spins you used to win those Shields return right back to you. You’ll see an animation of the Spins returning from the Shields to the Spin Counter.

What happens when I land on three Shields while I’m using multiple Bets?
If Bets are used, your Shields will fill up as usual, and any remaining Shields are returned back to you as Spins.
 If you use Bets and you already have the maximum amount of Shields,🛡 all of the Spins you used return back to your Spin counter.

Shop

What is the Shop?

You can find any resources needed for the game in the Shop.
Coins, Spins, Chests, and Healing Potions are all available for purchase.

What is the Chest?

Treasure Chests are a wonderful way to collect game resources.
There are: Wood, Silver, and Gold Chests.

The Wood chest might contain Common Funimalz, Chicken Food, or up to 1 Healing Potion
The Silver Chest might contain Common and Epic Funimalz, Food for Chickens and Pigs, and up to 2 Healing Potions
The Gold Chest might contain Common, Epic, and Legendary Funimalz, Food for Chickens, Pigs, and Cats, and up to 3 Healing Potions

You can get Chests by playing the Slots or buying them in the Shop.

How can I see my entire Funimal collection?

Tap on the Menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the Main Screen.
Tap on the Album button.
Tap on a Funimal Card to learn more about your creatures!

How can I learn more about Collections?

Tap on the blue INFO button
Well done! Info pop-up tells you more about Collections.

You can get a Collection reward after hatching all rarities of the same level Funimalz: Common, Epic, and Legendary.

How can I receive a Collection reward?

Tap on “Claim” button
Well done! Your Collections reward will be added to your spins.

How can I learn more about my Funimal?

Tap on Funimal’s card to read their story
Info pop-up tells you more about each level of Funimalz

Wardrobe

How to dress up my Funimal?

Tap on the Menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the Main Screen.
Tap on the Wardobe button.
Select the hats, boots or accessories tab and try on different options.
Tap on "Buy" if you like an option.
Tap on the arrows to switch between Funimalz.

Where can I get clothes for my Funimal?

There are different ways to dress up your Funimalz.
Let’s learn about them:

Wardrobe - this is the easiest place to style your Funimalz
Chests from the Store
Feeding reward Gift (There is 1-3% chance to get Funimalz accessories)
